Good Afternoon,

Earlier this December we issued the next two numbers in our Other Voices series of guest and collaborative singles. No.7 is by Berlin based artist ToiToiToi, two witty, electronic diversions featuring squashy plasticine synthesizers, spectral voices of blurred origin, and haphazard percussion (likely to appeal to fans of Roj).

Also recorded in Berlin, Other Voices No. 6 is by  Tim Gane's low key, elusive and damned near perfect band, Cavern of Anti-Matter. "Pulsing River Velvet Phase" is a beautifully evolving melodic piece reminiscent of Gane’s Stereolab work and  "Phototones" is in more typical motorik territory, an upbeat headnodder. Like all CoAM records to date, this one is bound to sell out quickly. 

Also this winter we have some new merchandise. First is this long sleeve Tshirt, a grey screen print on grey  fabric:

Finally we have a very special piece of Ghost Box merchandise. It was commissioned by Jonny Trunk (of Trunk Records) in association with Ghost Box's designer Julian House and the Original Peter company. 

Only ten of these beautiful bags have been produced based on the classic Original Peter navy blue 12" bag. Hand made in the UK from double bonded waterproof canvas with high grade leather, brass and military webbing.The front flap logo and text, designed by Julian House was intended to reproduce a moiré effect in embroidery. This required two embroidered patterns sewn in over each other, an unusual and surprisingly complex technique, but the overall effect is superb. The Ghost Box bags also come with a pair of bespoke record stiffeners in canvas plus a a copy of "In a Moment... Ghost Box" the compilation LP marking ten years of Ghost Box records. Its available now only from the Original Peter store.

We have a busy release schedule for 2016, starting with the new album by Hintermass, The Apple Tree in March followed by the long awaited new Belbury Poly LP, The Belbury Poly in May, an Other Voices single from the remarkable Beautify Junkyards and later a remarkable new sereis of spoken word EPs featuring some exciting special guests.
