Hello All,

Ghost Box will be a digital only label for the duration of The Unpleasantness. Although our distributors state51 have had to suspend physical distribution, they’re still busy with digital distribution to all the usual streaming and download channels worldwide, and keeping our online shop very much… online. The same goes for our great friends and allies at Trunk Records and Clay Pipe Music. Meanwhile we're forging ahead with our recording, design and release schedule where we can and hope to continue to bring you new music.

Our first new release of the year is Puzzlewood by Plone, set for digital release on 17th April and available for digital pre-order now.

The long awaited third album from much loved vintage synth maestros Billy Bainbridge and Mike Johnston, finally finds its home on Ghost Box Records. This is unironically joyful and melodic electronica; informed by library music, music for children’s TV and a deep passion for the history of music technology. (Preview clips here).

Soon after this we’re going to be fast tracking a compilation album, entitled Intermission, which will feature most of the regular Ghost Box roster and a few guests. This will be followed, in the summer (June-ish) by the new album from Belbury Poly entitled The Gone Away.
